While Dutch may not have a Chosen One-type prophecy driving his narrative, it would be hard to convince him of it. Dutch believes unequivocally that he is destined to make a utopia for him and his own that fits his fantasy of a free frontier. The original Red Dead Redemption showed Dutch at the very end of his journey when he had no cards left up his sleeve, but even then the enigmatic leader had the last word and ended things on his own terms. When the story roles back to the downfall of the Van Der Linde Gang in RDR2, players see a much more nuanced Dutch with more of the charm and bravado for which he's known, but that slowly fades as the story progresses. Even as the game foreshadows that he is getting sloppy and erratic, Dutch still showcases hints at the man he was , who was able to inspire all the members to follow

Similarly, in the original Star Wars trilogy, fans were introduced to one of the most iconic villains of all time and were given fragments of Vader's backstory, but viewers were still largely only presented with the knowledge that once there was a good man before he put on the helmet. By the time the original trilogy is over, viewers know that Darth Vader was once a promising young Jedi, but they don't know that actual character, only that he once existed. The prequel trilogy gave layers and depth to the man who would become Lord Vader, painting a portrait of a passionate and ambitious youth not all too unlike how Dutch's young self is referenced in RDR2 . Each had a vision of the world they wanted to make, and, like Anakin, even as Dutch's plans continued to fail , they were still plans initially made with the best of intenti

Poor Arthur has to go through a lot. As the gang's strongman, he's often tasked with some of the most taxing jobs, with very little appreciation coming back his way. But this cutscene is a welcome reprieve, where players get to see him actually enjoy himself. He even laughs, openly and heartily - a rare sight, for such a troubled

Much like Red Dead Online , there’s no gold bars inside this mine. However, Arthur will find the water has been poisoned and is the true source of the strange local happenings. Filling up a small bottle, he begins pursuing a person trying to run away. Shortly after, the mine tunnel will explode. Poisonous air starts to fill up the caverns, so Arthur must escape quic

After killing Jean-Marc, players will need to dump him into a nearby pond at the North end of the property. If players return to the same location and fish near the area at a later time, they will unlock a hidden Easter Egg. Once the line is cast, Arthur will reel something in, but it will not be a fish. At the end of the line, Jean Marc's arm will be attached to the hook, which can make for a sight that is both disturbing and amusing.

Rockstar's slow and snowy start to the western adventure of [[https://Regiprocess.com/|Red Dead Redemption 2 Updates]] Dead Redemption 2 _ set the tone for the tragic game, but it also introduced players to one of the few characters who manage to find some level of redemption. Sadie Adler's involvement in the first couple of chapters, while important, is largely minuscule. As _RDR2 progresses, though, Sadie quickly becomes an integral part of the narrative and one of the fan-favori

By contrast, Red Dead 1 opens much more slowly, yet with a remarkable display of bravado and stupidity from its protagonist. Forced to confront his old gang members in order to save his family, John goes to meet Bill Williamson, who's hiding out in Fort Mercer with a gang of his

Her time in the region would also allow for potential interactions with former Van Der Linde member Javier Escuella. Javier would be well into his role as a hitman in Sanchez's ranks, which could further elaborate on that story as well as weaving the web that John Marston eventually finds when he goes hunting down Escuella in Red Dead Redemption. Given Mexico is one of the best potential settings for RDR3 , this section of Sadie's journey would tie into the previous games nicely while also adding nuance to her tale, which mirrors that of John and Art

Although this scene is meant to feed a sense of unease going into Undead Nightmare , it also embodies everything John fought for. At the beginning of the DLC, John returns to find his family sitting by the fireplace, joking around and enjoying the domesticity they worked so hard

Sadie's admission to John that she had developed a bit of a death wish, and her penchant for violence, could be enough to keep her in her role for a time after the events of RDR2, which could allow players to experience another powerful narrative of Red Dead 's themes around revenge and redemption. Sadie's character would become more and more hardened, as she is already becoming at the end of RDR2 , losing herself in work and struggling to maintain her humanity in the proc

She would have to choose between capturing her bounty target who she has pursued so vigorously or finally escaping to South America, both of which would be closer than ever before. Whether Rockstar allows players to make the final choice or takes the reigns to finish the narrative, _Red Dead Redemption 3 _ would already have told a story worthy of the franchise. Similar to the uncertain future that awaited Jack Marston at the end of the original, Sadie's tragic journey is already a frontier tale regardless of how it e
